As you all probably know by know, I totally love black and white. On Stardoll and in real life, I'm usually in a monochromatic scheme. I love these jeans and how she styled them. I can't wait to wear my pair. 

Also, I really love the whole trend of pairing fancier shoes (heels) with extremely casual pieces, like t-shirts.

Really love this leopard print jacket from the newest collection of Callie's Picks. I've been wearing this outfit for a bit, but just got around to posting it. 

Also, I changed my doll's hair color and a few of the facial features. I really like it now, was getting a bit tired of platinum blonde hair. 

Even More Makeup Mistakes

I've gotten a few messages on my account to do another one of these posts. Strangely enough, I was already thinking about it myself. I've seen some makeup looks that have really bothered me lately. However, I obviously won't use pictures of the users, I wouldn't want to exploit them. I recreated some mistakes on my on doll. Also, this is in no way me shaming or telling people what to do. Whatever makes you happy, is what you should do. This is just my personal opinion. 

MESSY EYEBROWS

I see this pretty often. They start out with very light eyebrows, and try to make them dark. However, it doesn't work out very well because you run out of pencil. (Still waiting for Stardoll to fix this). Or, they are just careless about their application. 

FIX IT:

Don't rush, and it might take a couple tries to get it right. Or, just simply darken your eyebrows in the face editor. It will save a lot of time and effort. 

 CRAZY HIGHLIGHTS 

I definitely use to do this when I first joined Stardoll. But, now I know better. There is definitely a proper way to do highlights. Don't mix too many colors, and apply them in the right places. You don't want to look like a scene kid from 2008.

FIX IT:

Use colors that work well together. The easiest way to master highlights is to make it look natural. Use a golden highlight with a dirty blonde or light brown hair color. 

MIXING THE WRONG COLORS

I probably see this most frequently. Make sure to chose complementary colors when doing your makeup. This doesn't mean red lips and red eyeshadow. If you're trying a rosey eye look, you shouldn't pair it with orange lips.

FIX IT:

Try a nude color for a purple/pink eye look. It will compliment it nicely. I think the most important part of this concept is experimenting. Try things out, you'll see what works and what doesn't.

I know I say this every time, but I seriously fell in love with this look the moment I saw it. Everything goes together perfectly. The color scheme is amazing, I love pastel/light colors like these. 

Trending: The Bright Pink Lip

This is something I've been seeing on a lot of dolls lately. 

There are many different shades of pink; some may say the middle picture is purple, but I'd say it's pink enough. I really love this trend, and can't wait to try it out myself.

I think it gives a great finishing touch to any outfit.

A bold pink lipstick can be added to almost any outfit, especially ones with monochromatic schemes.

Try one out, it might change your look completely! Or, if you're not a fan of pink, try red or orange.

This is pretty different from what I usually do. And I've had this outfit on for about a week. I'm trying to use more of the pieces in my wardrobe, and this shirt was one of them. I love it, but never really knew how to wear it. I think this wannabe-bohemian / coachella-esque outfit works well.

Hey guys,

So I'm sure as most of you know, I have been essentially the only one running this blog for the past 2 years. I've hired several writers, but they have had to quit for one reason or another. 

I'm only one person, but I still try and post as often as I can. Honestly, I wish I could post everyday. But I'm never sure exactly what to do. Do you guys get bored of the same posts? I'd really like to know because I love this blog, truly. I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. 

Even though close to none of the readers are active, I still see that people are at least seeing what I write. Is there any way to get you all more active? I honestly don't have the money (on stardoll or in real life) to do a contest with a big prize. But, can any of you help out?

Totally fell in the love with the whole vibe of this look. It's sophisticated, but still fun with the colors and palm tree pattern. Great job, and I wish I had that Lanvin top!

Callie's Picks No. 15

The fifteeth (wow, already?) edition of Callie's Picks came out today. I will say, at first I was set off by the message we were sent. I thought there was nothing I would want to purchase, especially considering I already own all the pieces in this image. But of course, I went and looked at the store. 

 

I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Callie's Picks is definitely a hit or miss store. To be completely honest, at first glance, it looks ugly. Nothing jumped out at me. However, I did buy a few pieces that I'm really excited to style.

I really love everything I bought. The pleather hot pants are from No. 14, however they are currently still available as of right now, when I am writing this. I can't wait to wear these! Obviously, not at all once :)

Love this cardigan from the new Millionaire Mansion Fashion collection. It's a bit hard to style; you can only wear it with some pants or a bikini bottom. But, I really like this outfit. I'll probably keep it for a while.
