More Makeup Mistakes

Back in February, I wrote a post on the top 3 makeup mistakes I've seen on Stardoll. I was asked by a few users to write another post with more makeup mishaps. 

TOO NUDE LIPSTICK 

When wearing a nude lipstick, make sure its not too light for your skin tone. I often see medolls with ghostly lips like the picture above.

CRAZY SHADOW

There actually is a correct way to wear a bold color on your lids. But, many don't know how. Don't mix too many colors; keep it simple. Use the bright color as an accent or apply lightly. 

EXTREME RACCOON EYES

This is a mistake I use to make when I first joined Stardoll. Take it easy on the eyeliner; you're not Boxxy. 

OMBRE GONE WRONG

Believe it or not, I actually see this a lot. Ombre became a big trend last year. I've seen many users rock an ombre lip. However, I've also seen many fail miserably. Make sure the colors you're using are not too different from each other.

My jaw literally dropped when I saw this outfit. In her presentation, it says "future fashion designer," and she is definitely right. The 3 pieces she put together create a beautiful, elegant dress.

Downtown: What's The Deal?

So, as many of you already know, Stardoll has been teasing us for months now about "Downtown." There have been numerous posts on the Stardoll blog and leaked pictures of Downtown. But, what exactly is it?

Well, we now know that it is another new app. It's extremely disappointing, in my opinion. When I first saw pictures of the layout, I was excited. I was hoping that Stardoll would finally undergo another makeover. But, no, of course not. Stardoll has once again let us down. 

I don't doubt that most people would have liked a new layout. Now, Stardoll has given us another app that only a small percent of people will have access to. It's not fair to tease us like that, and not have this feature available to every user. Shocker Stardoll, not everyone can afford an iPhone, iPad or Android.
