Top 3 Makeup Mistakes

1. EYESHADOW UP TO EYEBROWS

99% of the time, this is not acceptable. In real life would you apply black eyeshadow up to your eyebrow? I don't think so. 

2. SLOPPY/NON SYMMETRICAL APPLICATION

If you want your medoll to look halfway decent, at least try. Please? I understand it may look good from far away. However, if someone goes into your beauty parlor and it looks like you took a paintbrush and smeared some color on your face, you won't be too happy.

3. OVERDONE BLUSH

I think this may be the mistake I see the most. I apologize, but how can this look okay? Of course, some people can make this work (too bad I'm not one of those people!) However, the average Jane cannot.

White Lips, Pale Face

This is one of those outfits that look absolutely stunning, yet are so similar and consist of few pieces. I've been trying to master this technique, and Julia certainly has. I love this outfit in general! What do you all think?

Volumizing Mascara in Black 

Black mascara should be in everyone's makeup collection. You can just put a few coats on, and your doll looks ten times better. I would recommend purchasing a mascara in black instead of brown or another color, because it looks good on all skin tones and does look best. 

Liquid Liner in White

Every doll looks good with bright eyes. If you put a little of this white liner in the inner corners of your doll's eyes, it will will change your doll for the better. The bright corners make your doll look fresh and healthy. 

Eye Khol/Liner in Black

You can do so much white a black liner. Create a dark, "grungy" look by heavily lining the eyes, or lightly applying the liner on the outer thirds of the eyes to create a softer, elegant look. This should be in everyone's makeup bag. It's an easy and cheap way to create numerous different looks. 

Lipstick in Soft Skin

This pinky/nude lip color looks best on lighter skin tones. However, if you do have a lighter skin color then I would definitely recommend buying this product. Any doll can pull off a nude lip, as long as it's not too light for their skin. 

Blusher/Bronzer in Coconut Shell

I absolutely love this product, because it goes with anything and everything. Your doll can have any skin tone, or wear any outfit, and this will look fabulous.  Even though this is called a blush, I would apply this as a bronzer    instead of on the apples of your doll's cheeks.
